As July is usually quite hot, we have decided to make this a late afternoon walk, starting at our house, with a bring and share supper afterwards, also at our house. We will start walking at 16h00, so please could you arrive before that to leave whatever food you would like to contribute. Thank you. Could you also let us know in general terms in advance what you will be bringing for the supper: savoury, sweet, cheese, salad, bread etc. 

There is some, but limited, parking at our house, so where it is possible to lift share, that would be very helpful.

The walk is an adapted version of "Path from la Vere to Saint-Hussou". We will start in Cahuzac and walk along back roads to Vieux. Having had a little pause outside the medieval pilgrimage church of Saint Eugene (there's a WC there if anyone needs it)  we will then walk up to Andillac which is the half way point. We should get there about 17h30 for anyone who would like to join us there (and avoid the hill out of Vieux). From there we will walk through vineyards to join the GR46, and walk back down into Cahuzac. It is 10.7 km and takes about three hours. The walk is all on quiet back roads or tracks around Cahuzac and Andillac. There are a few gentle uphill sections but nothing too significant. There are lovely views on the way. It may be hot so bring hats, water and suncream. If it is very hot we can cut out the last part, but we can work this out on the day.

Back at our house you are welcome to cool off in the swimming pool, or just sit back with a beer or a glass of wine, and we can have supper together.

Comme le mois de juillet est généralement assez chaud, nous avons décidé d'organiser cette promenade en fin d'après-midi, au départ de chez nous, suivie d'un dîner à partager, également chez nous. L'adresse est : Clos Geor, 200 Impasse de la Garenne, 81140 Cahuzac-sur-Vère. Le départ est prévu à 16 h 00. Merci d'arriver avant pour déposer vos provisions.  Pourriez-vous également nous indiquer à l'avance ce que vous apporterez pour le dîner : salé, sucré, fromage, salade, pain, etc. 

Il y a quelques places de parking, mais limitées, donc si possible, covoiturage serait très utile.

Cette promenade est une version adaptée du « Chemin de la Vère à Saint-Hussou ». Nous partirons de Cahuzac et prendrons des chemins jusqu'à Vieux. Après une petite pause devant l'église médiévale de pèlerinage Saint-Eugène (des toilettes sont à votre disposition), nous monterons ensuite à pied jusqu'à Andillac, à mi-chemin. Nous devrions y arriver vers 17h30 pour ceux qui souhaitent nous rejoindre (en évitant la côte à la sortie de Vieux). De là, nous traverserons les vignes pour rejoindre le GR46 et redescendre vers Cahuzac. Le parcours, d'une durée de 10,7 km, dure environ trois heures. La randonnée se déroule entièrement sur des petites routes ou des chemins tranquilles autour de Cahuzac et d'Andillac. Il y a quelques montées douces, mais rien de trop important. De magnifiques points de vue s'offrent à vous. Il peut faire chaud, alors prévoyez chapeau, eau et crème solaire. S'il fait très chaud, nous pouvons supprimer la dernière partie, mais nous organiserons cela le jour même.

De retour à la maison, vous pourrez vous rafraîchir à la piscine, ou simplement vous détendre avec une bière ou un verre de vin, et nous pourrons dîner ensemble.
